"The 5 Point Programme..."

OFFICIAL RULES.

  1. Nothing can be filmed before the start date of Fri 4th July or after 5pm on Fri 13th July can be included in the final edit.
  2. Every person who starts the trip must stay on till the end. Every team member must be collected before 3pm on the start day. Anyone who leaves early will have their footage dropped from final edit. The only way out is to break something. All (legal) exits from the tour must be supported by confirmation X-ray.
  3. Footage must be filmed in at least 6 different cities. (In the UK a city is defined as being "a settlement which has received a charter from the Crown"
  4. Footage must be collated from at least two countries, (Once again Cornwall is (still) not a country)
  5. A special guest is compulsory. (Special guest means someone not affiliated to you or your team.) If you are having trouble with this we will be more than happy to allocate you one of our own choosing.
  6. TASKS. These challenges, as they did last year, will act as a vote booster. Won or completed tasks will earn you points. Each vote point will class as one extra vote for your team. These extra voting points can make or break it for your respective teams. As they did last year!
    1. The Jimmy Boyce challenge.Jimmy loves it and so should you!
      Film a trick on the back wall of Livingston skatepark.
      500 points
    2. The Howard Cooke Challenge. A tall order completed by a small guy.
      Film a trick over the infamous gap in Liverpool's Everton Valley.
      2000 points
    3. The John Rattray Challenge. Re-create his Bristo square line from Blueprint's 'Waiting for the world'. Nollie tre/ tre/ nose manny nollie flip out. 500 points, 1000 if you can re-enact it at Bristo Square in Edinburgh.
    4. The Danny Wainwright Challenge. Get as many people over the Johnny Ball lane road gap in Bristol as possible. 250 points per team member. A tre flip like ole DW did in 'Jus Foolin' get's you a 1000.
    5. Sea Dogs. Saltwater challenge. You all know the drill. Fully submerged or it aint "in". Pretty lakes and rivers don't count anymore. Get in the ole briny for 250 extra voting points per team member.
    6. Hill bomb challenge: Judges decision for the Document Magazine 'Special' prize.The full team must bomb a hill. The steeper and longer it is will prevent you looking like pussies in front of the other teams. Winners will get an as yet to be decided special prize from Document.
  7. All team members must be at Southbank in London by 5pm on Fri 11th July for bro hugs, beers and the official 'Big Push 08 photo'. That is your signing off point. If your not in the photo you won't be in the edit. That evening there will be an official "Post Push Party" in conjunction with an 'as yet' unconfirmed bar in the nearby area, so get your sleeping arrangements made early.
  8. From the final date you will have exactly two weeks to edit and supply your finished edit to Document. (All edits must be received by 25th July) Any latecomers will miss the duplication deadline and have their edits dropped.
  9. Don't forget, you all have an official Document Judge with you in the form of our photographers. (Despite how you think you are all "down with them" and they are all mates fighting for the same cause) They will grass you up! All infringements will be reported. For each rules infringement there will be deduction of 500 vote points from your teams over all score. May the best men win!
