OFFICIAL RULES.

  1. Nothing filmed before the start date of Fri 6th July or after 6pm on Fri 13th July can be included in the final edit.
  2. Every person who starts the trip must stay on till the end. Every team member must be collected before 3pm on the start day. Anyone who leaves early will have their footage dropped from final edit. The only way out is to break something. All (legal) exits from the tour must be supported by confirmation X-ray.
  3. Footage must be filmed in at least 5 different cities. (In the UK a city is defined by a settlement which has received a charter from the Crown)
  4. Footage must be collated from at least two countries, (Once again Cornwall is not a country)
  5. A special guest is compulsory. (Special guest means someone not affiliated to you or your team.) If you are having trouble with this we will be more than happy to allocate you one of our choice.
  6. TASKS. These new challenges will act as a vote booster. Won or completed tasks will earn you points. Each vote point will class as one extra vote for your team.
    1. Big Road Gap challenge. This cannot be out of an artificial bump, although permanent, natural kickers will count. The final entry must be measured/ filmed (in centimetres) with an official metal rule! The person who floats the longest claims 500 vote points for their team.
    2. Stair Count challenge. A stair is classed as being over 4 inches tall (a measure of which must be filmed) The person who clears the most wins 500 vote points for their team.
    3. Sinking Ship challenge, Every member of the team who submerges fully in the sea, lake or river (indoor water does not count) will receive 100 extra votes, This can include filmers photographers or drivers.
    4. Bowlhead challenge. 100 votes per person for as many team members you can fit in a bowl. Votes will only be given to people skating in the bowl.
    5. Police Bank RIP challenge. 200 votes for each member of the team who can find and film a trick on a natural transitioned bank. (Natural means not constructed for skateboarding or by skateboarders.) Only one trick per team member (Filmers and photographers count as team members)
  7. All teams must be in Sheffield at the Devonshire Green skatepark by 6pm on Fri 13th. That is your signing off point. From the final date you will have exactly three weeks to edit and supply your finished edit to Document. Any latecomers will miss the duplication deadline and have their edits dropped.
  8. Don't forget, you all have an official Document Judge with you in the form of our photographers. (Despite how you think you are all "down with them" and they are all mates fighting for the same cause) They will tell! All infringements will be reported. For each rules infringement there will be deduction of 500 vote points from your team.
